ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research)

Founded in 1962 at the University of Michigan, ICPSR (Inter-University Database of Politics and Social Sciences) is the largest social science data center in the world. ICPSR currently has more than 700 academic institutions and survey organizations to become members of its alliance, storing more than 500,000 social science data, covering political, social, historical, demographic and many other fields. ICPSR defines its mission to promote the development of social science research, to play a global leadership role in data management, and to provide current and future researchers with a wealth of data resources and educational opportunities.

UKDA (UK Data Archive)

Founded in 1967, UKDA is currently funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, the University of Essex, and the Joint Information Systems Committee. As the UK's largest social sciences and humanities database, UKDA is committed to collecting, managing and sharing high quality data. UKDA provides a wide range of data, including census data, government-funded survey data, follow-up survey data, international macro data, qualitative research data, and commercial microdata.

Harvard Dataverse

Harvard Dataverse is a social science database created by the Institute for Quantitative Social Science and the Harvard University Library. Harvard Dataverse offers a wide range of multidisciplinary databases such as social sciences, humanities, earth and environmental sciences, and medicine.

ADA (Australian Data Archive)

The ADA was established and managed by the Australian National University in 1981. The data stored by the ADA includes not only Australian survey data, census data, poll data, but also data from other countries in the Asia Pacific region. The storage data mainly includes seven categories: social science, history, local research, follow-up survey, qualitative research, international research, and criminology.

Fudan University Dataverse Network

The Social Science Data Platform of Fudan University was established in 2013 by the Social Science Data Research Center of Fudan University, and launched three core businesses including data services, quantitative research methods and interdisciplinary research. The data platform features quantitative research to collect, collate and develop China's economic and social development data, and provide training in data services and social research methods. The data platform has created 63 data spaces, 669 topics and uploaded 1,340 documents. Chinese National Survey Data Archive

The China National Survey Database is an economic and social data sharing platform funded by the National Natural Science Research Center (NSRC), funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The database is based on the data of the large-scale tracking project and cross-sectional survey project funded by the Chinese Social Survey Open Database (CSSOD) and the Data Height Project of the People's University of China Science Research Fund. Extensive collection of raw data and related data from various sample surveys conducted in mainland China, such as the Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS), China Education Panel Survey (CEPS), Chinese seniors China Longitudinal Aging Social Survey (CLASS), etc.
