The Institute of Social Science Survey (iSSS, hereinafter referred to as the “Center”) was established in September 2006 and is a teaching and research entity directly affiliated to Peking University. In addition to the implementation of the Center's projects, it also undertakes commissioned research by academic and government agencies at home and abroad to provide data for teaching, research, policy analysis and decision-making for the purpose of investigating, collecting, collating and integrating Chinese socio-economic and social science research data. basis.

The Social Survey Project of the Institute of Social Welfare and Social Progress of the Ministry of Civil Affairs is a national large-scale follow-up survey conducted by the China Social Science Research Center of Peking University and the Policy Research Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. In 2015, the Center undertook the “Investigation on the Construction of Social Policy Support System for Urban and Rural Difficult Households in China” and the “Research on the Dynamic Monitoring Platform for Community Governance and the Network Construction of Deep Observation Points”. The above projects were tracked in 2016 and 2017, and the data quality was obtained by experts in the industry. Highly praised. The third round of follow-up visits will be held in 29 provinces (municipalities/autonomous regions) from June to August 2018. The survey center is open to recruiting interviewers for students and members of the national colleges and universities.

Recruitment target

The designated regional interviewer is responsible for the investigation and interview of the scattered samples of the district and county.

Work content

Within the specified time, carry the access equipment distributed by the survey center to the designated household to conduct the household visit, and complete the investigation task in the county.

Application requirements

1. Guaranteed to work for at least 30 consecutive days from June to August 2018;

2. Age 20 years old and above, skilled use of laptops;

3. The location of the school or hometown is the priority of the interviewer in the district/county;

4. Interested in survey visits, honest and trustworthy, good at communication, obeying arrangements, and strong sense of teamwork;

5. Strong pressure resistance, perseverance, refusal to quit halfway;

Familiar with survey local dialects, you can use dialects to communicate smoothly.

Training arrangement

Participate in a 4-day training session from June to July 2018. The venue is tentatively scheduled for the Beijing University (time, location and detailed training details will be announced separately).
